Presentation Station
The Makino Inc. Presentation Station has been an ongoing project since 2018. A few years after the app first launched, there was an overhaul of the application which included adding new sections to support the IMTS (International Manufacturing Technology Show) 2022. Further updates followed in 2023.
My objectives in this project:
Define and implement structured pipelines for asset creation and organization; create documentation of pipelines
Assign tasks to myself and other Technical Artists while providing feedback on the results of those tasks
Convert and optimize large, multi-million-polygon CAD files for use on the web, as well as update existing asset library for better performance
Improve visual cohesiveness throughout entire application; creation of wireframes and mockups
Apply UI/UX design principles with a focus on hierarchy, usability, and context
Supply Developers with appropriate assets
